1985 was a great classic vintage that produced an incredibly concentrated and powerful Dow's Vintage Port with great ageing potential. The year offered textbook conditions –balanced growth, a warm dry summer and a harvest with near-perfect weather. Now with 38 years of bottle age, the Symington family have decided to release 800 of the last remaining bottles of this exceptional Vintage Port from their cellars, where they have matured over four decades in perfect conditions. This Vintage Port has developed a layer of sophistication and poise that can only come from long-term ageing.
